The Flaming Lips Announce Summer Tour

The Flaming Lips will be heading on tour this summer after releasing their studio album King Mouth: Music and Songs on July 19th.

The tour will feature the Claypool Lennon Delirium (who won’t appear at the July 31 show) with Particle Kid. The band will kick off the tour in Wichita, Kansas at Wave and make several stops through the Midwest and East Coast.

King’s Mouth was originally released as a limited-edition on Record Store Day and sold out. The forthcoming album is part of a project that includes an immersive A King’s Mouth art installation, which is currently exhibited at Rough Trade NYC through May 31, and a book called King’s Mouth: Immerse Heap Trip Fantasy Experience.
