An Instagram picture posted on the bands account by Brendon Urie has fans going crazy wondering if Panic! At The Disco is making its way to Broadway.
With the vague caption “Unreal” we are left with so many questions. What’s unreal? The fact that our favorite pop-punk band just hinted the fact that they have a playbill for their new Broadway show? Or is it unreal that we all jumped to conclusions when it was just a gift from their fans. That’s right, its just thoughtful piece of fan art the band received at the New Jersey show January 18.
Before we all sigh in disappointment, Brandon Urie did tell The Sun he has been talking with some film directors about ideas for his own musical. No surprise there considering the musician made an incredibly successful debut as an actor on Broadway’s Kinky Boots.
Ideas have been flying around about doing an original story on Urie and his experiences growing up in Vegas. But he says “the ideal would be to write music for an idea somebody else has come up with.” Whatever the play ends up being about were just stoked it’s going to involve Panic! At The Disco.
