Blink-182 performed ‘Bored To Death’ on last night’s episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. Scroll down to watch.

The band stepped in for the The Hollywood Vampires, who were forced to pull out of the show after Joe Perry, best known for being a member of Aerosmith, collapsed at a recent gig.

Blink-182 took to the stage on the CBS chat show as they celebrate topping the US and UK album charts with their latest LP ‘California’.

In the US, the album sold 186,000 copies in its first week of release to knock Drake’s ‘Views’ from the top spot after a nine-week chart reign. The US Number One is only the second of Blink-182’s career following 2001’s ‘Take Off Your Pants And Jacket’.

Last week, the band scored their first ever UK Number One when ‘California’ knocked Adele‘s ’25’ off the top spot.

Meanwhile, Blink-182 are planning to tour Europe by boat because one of their members suffers from flight anxiety. Drummer Travis Barker has been unable to travel with the band after a plane crash in 2008 saw him develop a fear of flying.

Speaking about their hopes to overcome Barker’s fear of flying, Mark Hoppus said recently: “We are looking into it. Hopefully we can make it work. Travis is looking into the possibility of taking a boat from LA, which is a very long trip.”
