Noel Gallagher dismissed reports of Axl Rose possibly joining AC/DC in a recent interview.
Guns N’ Roses singer Rose was recently photographed leaving a studio space where members of AC/DC had been rehearsing, fuelling speculation that he will tour with the classic rock group. Rumours that Rose will fill in for Brian Johnson as AC/DC’s frontman after he was forced to pull out of the band’s upcoming US tour due to health reasons have been swirling for the past month or so.
In a recent interview with Australia’s Triple M, Gallagher described the prospect of Rose fronting the hard rock outfit as “wrong”. “Wrong, that’s wrong,” Gallagher told host Matthew Johns. Listen below.

Gallagher has spoken favourably of Rose’s band Guns N’ Roses in the past, stating that he “couldn’t wait” to hear the group’s ‘Chinese Democracy’ album in 2008.
Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds released latest album ‘Chasing Yesterday’ in 2015. The band will be back on the road later this month with a tour that begins in Glasgow at the SSE Hydro on April 21 and culminates at the end of the month at Bournemouth’s BIC. The band also play dates in Aberdeen, Liverpool, Leeds and Birmingham. Super Furry Animals support on all dates except in Bournemouth.
