Who's Next For Rock Band
The Who are reportedly in talks with game makers to develop a Rock Band video game modeled after their group.
In an interview with MassLive, singer Roger Daltrey offered a hint, saying, "The game, yeah, yeah, they’re going to be doing a Who one next year. There is one planned. [The idea] is fabulous. Anything that gets non-musical people interested in music is wonderful.”
Such games have already been produced for Metallica, Aerosmith and the Beatles.
A spokesperson for the Rock Band title told video game website Kotaku, "We're working closely with the Who on what’s next, but don’t have anything new to announce at this time.”
Though the Who have already offered a number of their songs to existing Guitar Hero titles, the new game would likely be solely devoted to the band's catalog.
